Our 2026 Nonprofit Beneficiary: Life Untethered
Life Untethered is a local nonprofit that dramatically improves the quality of life for Clark County residents in nursing homes, and individuals living with disabilities. Life Untethered’s programs include holiday meals, severe weather-preparedness resources, nursing home upgrades and more.
“Both of our missions are about making life a little sweeter,” said John Young, CIEIO of Young’s Jersey Dairy.
“We were inspired by what Life Untethered is already doing in the community. Ryan’s work with a commonly overlooked portion of our population, local nursing home residents, and the disabled community fills an important need in our community,” said Young.
“We believe it’s our responsibility to help lift others up, specifically those most vulnerable. Partnering with Young’s expands our reach and broadens our touch! This will not only be a productive partnership, but a fun and creative one, too,” said Life Untethered co-director Ryan Ray.
The Scoop it Forward Program at Young’s Jersey Dairy brought in many nominations for outstanding local nonprofits! We look forward to continuing the Scoop it Forward Partnership in 2027 and beyond, and encourage other local nonprofits to sign up for a Carousel of Causes date to support their fundraising efforts at Cowtherine’s Carousel.
