Some episode highlights:

  • Earliest Memory at Young’s (before employment):
    • Judy: “I remember coming with my mother to get milk… getting it in the glass bottles with the cream on top!”
    • Brian: “We’d walk down here to Young’s and get a quart of ice cream for a dollar” after mowing lawns as a teen.
    • Angela: “I remember my grandmother coming up here and getting english muffin bread. If it was a good week, I’d get a scoop of chocolate peanut butter!”
  • Why is Young’s a good place for someone to start their career at Young’s?
    • Judy: “For me, it’s family. I’ve always encouraged my children to work here, and my grandchild has worked here. I think it’s been good for all of them.”

    • Angela: “Two of my (four) kids still work here. It’s a great place to start. It was my first job, and I still work here! It is the atmosphere… the people you meet here, the relationships that you get here. They stick with you for a lifetime.”
  • Favorite part about working here:
    • Judy: “I think it’s just the friendships that I’ve made here. I also enjoy working with all the young people!”
